Omer Ze'evi-Berger

GIS, Photogrammetry and Photography

Omer started his career at the Israeli Institute of Archaeology in 2014 as an assistant field manager.

Today, in addition to his work as a GIS expert, Omer is writing his doctoral thesis at the University of Bonn on the agricultural area of Jerusalem in the late Islamic period.

Omer excavated at Tel Beit Shemesh, Masada, and K. Beit Mazmil and today is a team member of the Tel Hadid expedition. In addition, he is a team member in the new Computational Archaeology Laboratory at the Institute of Archaeology at Tel Aviv University.
