Shahar Gofer is an archaeologist specializing in ancient Egyptian culture. Studying a master’s degree in the Department of Archaeology and Ancient Near Eastern Cultures at Tel Aviv University. A member of the Tel Megiddo expedition and as part of his academic research, he is investigating Egyptian artifacts discovered in Megiddo from the Late Bronze Age and Iron Age. Shahar comes from a rich background of guiding and organizing trips in Israel, Egypt and the Caucasus countries. In addition to this, Shahar is a valued lecturer on the history of architecture of the ancient world at Kinneret, Ort and Afeka colleges.
