Welcome to the website of the Israeli Institute of Archaeology (hereinafter: “the Institute“). The use of the site, including the content and services provided therein, is subject to the terms detailed below.

1. General
- These Terms of Use apply to every user and visitor of the site (hereinafter: “the User“).
- These terms are written in the masculine for convenience only but refer to both men and women alike.
- The Institute reserves the right to update or change the Terms of Use from time to time at its sole discretion. Any such change will be published on the site and will be binding on users from the moment of its publication.
2. Intellectual Property
- All content appearing on the site, including texts, images, graphics, design, software code, and logos, is the exclusive property of the Institute or of third parties who have granted it a license for use.
- It is strictly forbidden to copy, distribute, reproduce, transmit, publish, or make any other use of this content, in whole or in part, without obtaining prior written consent from the Institute.
- The Institute’s name and logo are trademarks. No use may be made of them without the express permission of the Institute.
3. Limitation of Liability
- The use of the site and reliance on its content are the sole responsibility of the User. The Institute does not warrant that the information on the site is accurate, complete, or up-to-date, and is not responsible for any damage, direct or indirect, caused to the User as a result of reliance on the information appearing on the site.
- The Institute is not responsible for the availability of the site at all times and does not guarantee that its operation will be continuous and without faults.
- The site may contain links to external websites. The Institute is not responsible for the content or privacy policies of these sites. Clicking on these links is the sole responsibility of the User.
4. User Conduct
- The User undertakes not to perform any action that would cause disruption, damage, or harm to the proper functioning of the site, including the uploading of illegal content, use of malicious software, or collection of information about other users.
- The Institute may block access for a user who violates these provisions and take any legal measures at its disposal.
Part B: Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is formulated in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, and the regulations enacted thereunder.

The Institute collects information in two ways:
- Information Provided Voluntarily: Personal information that the User provides willingly, such as contact details (full name, email, phone number) for the purpose of getting in touch or registering for services.
- Information Collected Automatically: Non-personally identifiable information collected during browsing of the site. This information includes:
