Tour in English: Megiddo and Jezreel

Tel Megiddo is a UNESCO site, preserving the heritage of biblical archaeology. From a great Canaanite urban center to an administrative and economic center within the Kingdom of Israel, we will visit this iconic site, passing through its 4000 years of history.
In Tel Jezreel we will visit one of the palatial towns of the Omride dynasty, who ruled Israel in the first half of the 9th century BCE, and we will see how this site relates to one of the most famous stories in Kings – about corruption, usurpation and pride.

The tour includes round-trip transportation from Tel Aviv, with the option to board at bus stops along Highway 2, or at Megiddo.
The tour involves approximately 2 km of walking at Tel Megiddo and about 1.5 km at Tel Jezreel.
Please bring a hat, water, closed-toe shoes, and food for lunch.
